Si rivolge al destinatario - non menzionato - che gli aveva chiesto di inserireÂnell'opera alcune notizie aggiuntive sul "campanile di N.D." (si tratta di alcune righe relative al campanile della Chiesa di Nostra DonnaÂdi Mondovi' del quale si fa menzione a pagina 25, e che sembrano in effetti un'aggiunta dell'ultimo minuto, poiche' poco prima l'A. aveva descritto l'ultimo edificio a cui Vassallo aveva posto mano a Mondovi', ovvero l'Ospedale di S. Croce, ma poi aggiunge con la formula 'In Mondovi' il Gallo costrusse ancora.' le poche righe relative al campanile).ÂChiechio, nella lettera,Âcita una seconda aggiunta evidentemente chiesta dal corrispondente ("quanto alla strada mi riesce cosa nuova") e dice che vedra' se riuscira' ad inserirla nelle bozze. Scrive inoltre di aver chiesto al Conte Ernesto di Montezemolo di accettare la dedica dell'opera (effettivamente il volume si apre con la dedicatoria in questione).
