Rilegato. Condition: quasi ottimo. prima edizione. Barcelone, Establissement Graphiques: Thomas, 1916. In-Folio grande (36 cm x 29 cm). Pp. 584. Con un ritratto in antiporta di Bento Goncalves da Silva. Centinaia di illustrazioni n.t. in b/n e f/t a colori protette da velina. Una mappa geografica. Solida legatura editoriale in mezza pelle, titolo dorato sul piatto anteriore con lo stemma dorato della repubblica del 1835 (qualche minimo segno del tempo). Esemplare in ottimo stato di conservazione. Prima rara edizione di questa monumentale e fondamentale storia di questo stato federato del Brasile la cui colonizzazione si sviluppò soprattutto da parte di immigrati italiani e tedeschi; fu uno stato separatista dall' impero brasiliano fra l' 11 novembre 1836 ed il 1° marzo 1845 con il nome di Repubblica Riograndese o Repubblica dei Piratini sotto la presidenza del politico e rivoluzionario brasiliano Bento Goncalves da Silva.
