Sheet size: 19,8 x 32 cm. (7,8 x 12,6 inch). Image size: 18,8 x 29,2 cm. (7,4 x 11,5 inch).Source unknown, to be determined.Made by 'Clara de Jong' after 'Albrecht Dürer'. Clara de Jong (1928-2005) was aquarellist, painter and drawer. She made portaits, history figures. Married to artist, engraver, sculptor Henk Visser. The attribution is made on the monogram CJ, the fact she worked on free lance base for the magazine "De vrouw en haar huis" and the comparison of her handwriting. Albrecht Dürer (21 May 1471 6 April 1528] was a painter, printmaker, and theorist of the German Renaissance. Born in Nuremberg, Dürer established his reputation and influence across Europe when he was still in his twenties due to his high-quality woodcut prints. The bagpipe player is one of his famous ones, monogrammed AD 1514Condition: Very good, given age. Excellent quality of the drawing, the original crème coloured paper a little yellowed. Part of fingerprint on the left edge, Dutch instructions for framing of the artist in pencil in bottom, reverse printed text [Elis M. Rogge.].
