Add to basketSoft cover. Condition: Fair. 1st Edition. Rare 1913 collection of recipes compiled in order to raise funds for the installation of a new organ in the Clacton Baptist Church. 92 pages. Also with many interesting illustrated adverts for local businesses. Includes soups, fish, meats and savouries, sauces, puddings and sweets, cakes, preserves, toffees, drinks and useful hints. The text is tight but age-browned throughout and with corner creasing to a few pages. Old recipe for hot cross buns pinned to front page. One leaf is trimmed on the corner. The paper binding is fairly worm faded and darkened. See photographs attached. (H-24).
