The book is in Very Good condition and was issued without a dust jacket. The spine ends and corners of the book covers have some light bumping and rubbing. There are spots of lightish rubbing to the spine joints as well. The text pages are generally clean and bright, though there is some lightish generalized toning throughout. "Leroy Eldridge Cleaver (August 31, 1935 May 1, 1998) was an American writer and political activist, and an early leader of the Black Panther Party. In 1968, Cleaver wrote Soul on Ice, a collection of essays that, at the time of its publication, was praised by The New York Times Book Review as "brilliant and revealing".
