First edition. First issue of this regional poetry journal featuring young writers from Texas and elsewhere, the title a slight misnomer, as indicated by the newspaper review. Clyde Walton Hill's (1883-1932) copy, containing his poem, "The Little Towns of Texas." Hill was a Dallas attorney, businessman, and one of the founders of the Poetry Society of Texas. He is perhaps most well known for the poem he contributes here. Also contains "A Valediction" by weird tales author and poet, Clark Ashton Smith. Uncommon and with a fine association. 25x17cm, 32pp. Contributor copy, signed by Clyde Walton Hill on the front cover and inside front cover, with his address in Dallas. Additionally signed by the editor, William Russell Clark on the table of contents. Publisher's illustrated, stapled wrappers, yapped edges. Some notes in pencil on front cover, likely by Hill, clipped newspaper review of the journal tipped in at rear with offsetting to final leaf. Wraps show some edge wear and rubbing. Very good.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Hardcover. Number 77 of 250 copies. Signed by Elliott, Brannen, McClarty, and Van Cleve. A beautiful collaborative limited edition with translations of 21 Japanese Fudoki poems dating from the 8th century. John McClarty's subtle and lovely woodcuts and Clyde Van Cleve's printing arts serve to honor these ancient poems, say the translators. Inserted in the book is an original woodcut titled and signed by McClarty. Bound in cream cloth with stabbed sewn binding and paper title label to cover. Book is in near fine condition save for a couple of small spots on the top page edges, but unfortunately the dust jacket is dampstained on both the front and back covers. Measures 8 x 10 inches. Unpaginated [about 45 bi-fold pages]. PRI/072022.
