Add to basketHardcover. Condition: Very Good. Greenish-blue cloth boards with black lettering to the spine. 19.5cm x 13.4cm. 523pp in total, plus indices. Vols 2 & 3 dated 1904. Rough-cut page edges. Many plates & illustrations throughout. Includes Geology, Macro-Lepidoptera, Molluscs, Birds, Flowering Plants, Mosses, Parochial History, Pre-Roman & Saxon Archaeology and Church Architecture. All three volumes are substantially clean, but with the odd spot or blemish to the boards. The corners are a little bumped with some slight edge-wear. Internally all three volumes have previous owner name; Vol 3 lacks a front end-paper, has some odd red spots on 2 pages, and has a loose illustration. Otherwise the text-block is clean. Unfortunately, due to a printer's error, pages 49 - 64 of Vol 2 (the last section of birds and the first part of flowering plants) appear to have been transposed from Vol 3 (archaeology) so that the correct pages for Vol 2 are missing. The same pages appear again correctly in Vol 3. Our price is reduced accordingly. In spite of this, it is rare to see all 3 volumes together. NB.
