Blue cloth with gold titling and decoration, very good with light age-soiling and only mild wear to most edges, though with tiny points of fraying at fore-edge corners and in the center of the back bottom edge. Spine square. Binding sound. Interior age-toned. Name of the Superintendent of Documents potentially rubbed out on the verso. Large envelope adhered to rear paste-down. Interior is clean and unmarked throughout.

Condition: Very Good. A very good and tight copy. First Printing. SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR AND INSCRIBED TO CONGRESSMAN JOHN J. McSWAIN FROM SOUTH CAROLINA. Copy is inscribed by McSwain to his nephew. McSwain was a U.S. congressman from 1921 to 1936. Includes all seven maps in perfect condition and four aerial views of Yorktown. Bottom corner tips a little soft. Light bump to top edge boards with a crease across top edge. A very decent copy and quite scarce signed.
