Hardcover. Condition: Fair. B003024VH8 (The cover shows a man jumping as though he is attempting to clear a hurdle. It is possible that this might be the first edition printing of the title, but I am not 100% certain of that.) There is no dust jacket present and the cover is worn and shows some soiling/spotting/staining. There is also some soiling/spotting on the outer edges of the book and moderate soiling in the interior. There is some staining on the lower outside corner of some of the pages, but it bleeds only slightly in to the margins on those pages, and does not even come close to coming into contact with the text. The binding is loosened inside the front cover, but still intact. Overall, this is still a complete and very readable copy of the title. Ships, well packaged and very quickly, from MI. This is part of the six book Frank Armstrong Series, and one of two with a baseball theme. Gray boards with a pitcher with white stockings and jersey and red stripes and a red cap, in mid delivery. This was the original True First Edition. The cover has red lettering on the front cover and black lettering on the spine. This edition is taller and wider than the A.L. Burt reprints, which did not have the other illustrations. Good condition, corners are bumped. Has the name of a prior owner, Christmas 1911. Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. This series was written by Walter Camp, using a pen name. This was the third of a six-book series, two which had baseball content. The frontispiece is of a bobsledding scene. These were reprints, the Hurst & Co. were the original First Editions. These books are shorter and not as wide and do not have the three interior illustrations that the Hurst editions have. Green boards with the same cover as the Hurst Editions. In good condition, corners are bumped, has a prior owners name in the book. I have hundreds of juvenile baseball fiction books in stock.
