Quarto in boldly illustrated stiff wrappers (also published in hardcover). iv (adverts), vtt +182 pp. Illustrated throughout with woodcuts , some in two-color, and featuring 8 tipped on full color plates. Wrappers are badly chipped and half lacking at the spine, shallow edge chipping top edges of both… covers. There is an acetate dust wrapper, also with chipping and splitting, which may or may not have originally been issued with the book. Survey of woodcut illustration of the 1920s from around the world. The illsutrations are, as one would expect, very striking.
