Sm 8vo, early full leather, bit worn at edges. front joint cracked but ok, small amount of early writing on blanks and blank areas in prelims., fine engraved second tp., early ownership on main tp., 349 pp + full index, slight stain top corner in index and a few pp. preceding but nowt serious.Minor ink blob on p.72 touching 2 lines of commentary (2 words), o/w text excellent and clean and fine. Marbled eps., bookplate in front. A nice little leather copy with gold tooling spine & gold borders front & back. A history of the Catiline conspiracy during Cicero's consulship, and of the war against Jugurtha king of Numidia. Size: Sm 8vo.
