Gilt-stamped gray cloth; square 8vo; 287pp; illustrated with b/w photos, drawings and maps; large color map (approx 28"x28") in pocket at rear; gray photographic dust jacket; printed in an edition of 1250 copies. Introduction by Craig Gilborn. With chapters on camp and lodge life; forestry and land management; hunting & fishing on the preserve; guide boats; rustic architecture at the Club; etc. Also a bibliography, lists of officers and centennial members plus a list of Club imprints. This copy in VG condition with lightly bumped corners and minimal wear, internally quite clean. The jacket is in good only condition with some edge chipping and short closed tears. The map is in near fine condition. A hard-to-find history of this famed Adirondack sporting club.
