8°. 132 S. mit ornamental umrahmtem, zwefarbig illustriertem Titel mit Druck in Rot und Schwarz und mit 60 teils ganzseitigen Abbildungen. Illustriertes Oln. Rotschnitt. Der braune Einband am vorderen Deckel stellenweise etwas aufgehellt (kleine Fleckchen - wahrscheinlich von Feuchtigkeit), unteres Kapital minimal ausgefranst. Innen jeweils wenige Bl. vorne und hinten mit leichtem Anflug von Stockflecken, sonst innen tadellos. Vorderer Vorsatz am Gelenk fast durchgehend, aber nur minimal angeplatzt (Bindung völlig intakt!). Trotz der beschriebenen kleineren Mängel insgesamt aber ein noch durchaus schönes und gutes Exemplar. Zweite deutsche Auflage der neuen Folge der bis in die 1920er-Jahre immer wieder neu aufgelegten zwei Bände. Diese zweite Folge erschien auf Deutsch erstmals 1885. Die erste Folge war auf Deutsch bereits 1878 erschienen, die Originalausgabe davon 1860 auf Französisch in Brüssel unter dem Titel "Le Livre illustré des Patiences", ob die neue Folge ebenso dort erstmals erschien ist ungewiss, denn auch der Breslauer Verlag veranstaltete später eine französische Ausgabe.
