There is scattered foxing throughout but the plates are in lovely bright condition. No inscriptions but bookplate on front free endpaper. 'Comus' was the pseudonym of Robert Michael Ballantyne (24 April 1825 - 8 February 1894), the Scottish author of ripping yarns such as The Young Fur-Traders and The Coral Island.

Previous owner's name and address in ink to front endpaper. Some light foxing and fingering, a small closed tear and light creasing to front endpaper. Not as bad as it sounds, still a nice copy. Packaged with care and promptly dispatched!
