The book is not an ex-library copy and is in very good + condition (particularly considering its years) with no dust jacket. It's 8" by 10 1/2" and has 505 pages with a Table of Contents and black-and-white illustrations throughout the book Thank you!

Light bumps to corners, edges, and to head and tail of spine. Dust-spotting to edges of text block. Foxing to front and rear endpapers. Pages are clean and unmarked. Rear hinge is beginning to start, with connective mesh visible. Binding remains sound. WIth photographs and illustrations throughout. James Gillespie Blaine (1830 1893) was an American statesman and Republican politician who represented Maine in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1863 to 1876.
