The interior pages, however, are clean, negligibly age-faded, and unmarked. This rather scarce issue is now in a clear, protective polypropylene bag with archival backing board.

Aside from usual edge wear and rubbing, the lower outer page corners have been wet and the slick paper stuck together (but now all safely parted). The Dust jacket is missing spine but is rather all there otherwise. A number of reduced prices on first fly which have been disguised with "whiteout" Why offer it? because it is the ultimate stereo book and a classic in its time! Everything you need to know about state of the art circa 1960! Fifteen chapters, eighty-eight illustrations. "The book is non-technical throughout and should be easily understood by any reader who, like the author can count up to twenty." Acutally a superb demonstration of everything going on in the stereo world at that date. Great photos, even one in color to see what a modern home installation should look like! photos, graphs, tables, charts, diagrams. A pretty typical British format. 146 pages including the index. In conclusion the author says "writing about stereo is rather like shaking hands with a jelly fish; " Serious book but does not require a Ph D.

Hardcover. Condition: Good. 7th Edition. Outer edges of book are frayed and fraying to a point where the boards beneath are exposed, these tears are at most approximately an inch long along one upper edge on the front of the spine, and continue to appear on both covers edge. Front endpapers are age toned, faint writing can be seen on the first front endpapers from previous owner. There also appears to be slight water damage on the top edges of the entire contents of the books pages. Overall the book is in good condition especially for being over 70 years old, with the spine and binding still tightly intact.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. 10th Edition. Spine and binding are well intact, head and tail of the spine are lightly worn as are the edges. The front cover is slightly warped inward lengthwise. Previous owner glued a small strip of paper to the free front endpaper. The back cover is marked and scratched. There is seemingly water damage to the top edges of the entire contents of the books pages. There appears to be very little discolouration and all in all the book is in very good condition, especially being that it is over 70 years old.
