In the early 1920s, and still unpublished, he was in Oxford and a leading light of a literary group, the New Elizabethans, who met in a pub to read Elizabethan drama. W. B. This small hard cover volume (6 x 8 ¾ inches 99 pages) was published by Alfred A. Knopf of New York dated 1928 and a First Edition with the same date on title and copyright pages. It is bound in light pink cloth with silver gilt titles on cover and spine. Please see the photo of the Table of Contents for your further information. The book is unadorned with illustrations. Condition: This book is in very good condition. The hard covers are a bit soiled with age and handling although the gilt titles on the cover are still bright. The spine is darkened and there is a small chip (1/4 inch) out of the edge (please see the photos). Inside the book is unmarked and the pages clean and without toning or foxing. Both hinges are intact, and the binding is tight and sound. This book is not ex-library or a remainder.
