In-12° (18 x 11), pp. da 203 a 418, con 2 tavv. in rame ripiegate f.t., la prima di musica notata ("Air de M.lle Buttier"), la seconda raffigurante "Dame menée au Traisneau sur la Neige. 1729". Brossura orig. in carta marmorizzata. Es. intonso a p. margini con testimoni, margini sgualciti. (12505) Numero assai curioso di questo periodico mensile, che riportava notizie di corte, novità librarie, cronache mondane, musiche e poesie originali etc. Da segnalare, alle pp. 395 e segg., la descrizione della Course de Traisneaux, svoltasi eccezionalmente a Versailles "le 11. du mois dernier", grazie alla "forte gelée & à la quantité de neige". La tav. in rame raffigura una dama condotta sulla slitta a forma di barca, trainata da un cavallo bardato a festa (cm. 21 x 30). Il "Mercure de France" uscì dal 1724 al 1791, e forniva mensilmente una cronaca di prima mano della vita dell'epoca. Cfr. Hatin, pp. 24 e segg.
