Soft cover. Condition: Fair. No Jacket. 1st Edition. viii + a further 8 unpaginated pages: 327pp. Front cover has an image of the artist Roland Coudon and there are two further of his illustrations to the front of the book; there are a number of sketch-maps in the text. Signature of F Couraud, one of the authors, to half-title page. Pages rough-cut. Rear cover is missing and spine has been retaped to the side of the front cover which would otherwise have been loose. Small section of front cover missing to bottom right corner. Slight creasing to head of pages adjoining spine. Text is in French and is in good condition. Inscribed by Author(s).

Illustration de la couverture + 2 dessins hors texte par Roland Coudon + Un dessin volant du même signé et daté 1926 + une photo d' un Officier non identifié, Lieutenant Colonel de l' Armée de terre, portant Légion d'Honneur, Croix de Guerre 14-18 avec 3 palmes et 4 citations au Mérite, médaille commémorative 14-18, Médaille de la valeur militaire, Médaille de la Victoire, Ordre National du Mérite Guerre 14-18, Fouragère non identifiable car photo en noir et blanc. La photo porte le nom de J. Lascaux mais il ne nous a pas été possible de terminer si il s'agissait du nom de l'Officier ou du photographe. Envoi autaugraphe de F. Couraud. Ensemble en bel état.
