Overall its a used, second-hand book in nice clean condition, and as its a used book normal wear, marks and t…ear apply consistent with use and age. Published by Tallis Publishing, Sheffield in 1977, First Edition. 172 pages, all intact and good tight binding. Stan Collins life as a London Tramwayman began in 1913, at the LCC Tramways Central Repair Depot at Charlton, it finished thirty-eight years later, in the early hours of the morning, less than a mile away, when he drove Streatham's last tram through the gates of a scrap yard. In his own words, transcribed directly from tape recordings, Stan Collins here describes the life of a London Tramwayman and the workings of the LCCT tram system.
