Hardcover. Condition: Good. Presumed first edition (SD; NAP) . Hardcover, approximately 5 x 7 3/4 inches, original tan paste-down paper covered boards, 51 pp, no illustrations. Good, no dustjacket. Corners bumped with a bit of cardboard exposed there, paper completely gone from spine, with gauze exposed, approximately 3 inch closed cracks on lower corners of both boards. Internally, front and rear hinges cracked, smudge on first free front endpaper, tanning on endpapers, names of 3 additional winners neatly written in on list of winners section, some tanning from newspaper clipping which is partially glued to blank portion of last page of final chapter, otherwise tight, clean, relatively crisp and unmarked. One of the scarcer works on the Kentucky Derby, consisting of a description of the race with some advice for radio broadcasters regarding it, a brief history with some of the highlights, famous horses, etc, and a list of winners from 1875-1929.
