Profile portrait of Jacobu Hollebeek (1593-1650) theologian in Amsterdam at the age of 57. An earlier version of this portrait was engraved by Jonas Suyderhoef. In this case the composition is mirrored; the title is preserved: 'IACOBUS HOLBEKIUS THEOLOGIS ECCLESIASTES AMSTELREDAMENTIS.' The plate has been altered by Tangena afte…r it was engraved and published b Jan Cralinge. At the bottom of the portrait eight lines of Dutch text by H. F. Waterloos. Dated above on the left: 'AEtatis suae 57 A. 1650' signed at the bottom: 'J.
