Hundreds of photographs illustrate the text, including stills from all the Fellini films and candid off-camera shots." (Of course, because the book was published when Fellini was still active, "all" only covers through AND THE SHIP SAILS ON (1983); in fact, the final chapter, on that film, must have been specially written for the American edition of the book, which was originally published in Italy in 1981.
