No Binding. Condition: Near Fine. 18 x 15" brochure printed in color both sides that folds to about the side of a business envelope, thus forming 8 separate panels. The other side has six panels devoted to narrative about the port of dowels, the Columbia River basin, and the Bonneville dam, as well as the two color pictorial cover panels with drawings of ships, railroads, cars and trucks, and cities with Mount Hood in the background. Just touches of wear to the extremities, utter panels clean and bright, corners square and flat, no separation at the folds, else near fine to fine with no internal markings. Date determined from the contents, which refers to a speech by President Roosevelt in 1934 and the completion of the terminals, which is expected in June, 1936. A rare brochure describing the transportation opportunities offered by the Port of the Dalles Oregon.
