BINDING IS SHAKEN (loose). Binding is coming loose, but most is still attached, except for a couple of plates, which are there but the edges (borders) have been damaged because they were loose and stuck out. ALL PLATES ARE PRESENT. Blue/gray cloth binding with silver lettering and decoration. Although binding has some wear and some soiling/spotting, the lettering and decoration on the cover and spine are still bright and legible. Rubbing through and wear at spine ends and corner tips, and three spots on the front edges. Partial cup stain on front cover near upper right corner. Internally there are inscriptions and names on the front endpapers. Some soiling and spots, but almost all are located on the margins. The margins are very wide, about 1 1/4" to 1 1/2". There is a tear in the margin of one plate (does not affect the picture) at the inside bottom corner. Ink stain at bottom of page 154 (in the margin). A few pages have corner tips creased. All plates and pages are present. This is a READING COPY. Size: 8 3/4" x 7 1/4".
