From the first line in the first poem "Stick with Jah" (also the book's name), Mr. Daring states his most cherished message: "Stick with Jah through thick and thin". The second poem in the book recognizes money as crucial to modern survival. But it simultaneously warns of its deleterious potential. The poem cautions us within advice rendered by Emperor Haile Selassie I. "The Power of Love" has a similar notion resonate in its messaging. It declares "materials and money don't give real power".
