[ Panégyrique et Discours funèbre ] Ce volume réunit le tome 3 de l'édition originale "extrêmement rare", de l'Histoire Universelle de Théodore Agrippa d'Aubigné, et l'édition originale de "l'Histoire de la mort déplorable de Henri IIII" par Pierre Matthieu. Dès la publication du premier titre, "une sentence du 2 Janvier 1620, condamna l'ouvrage à être brûlé ; quelques exemplaires seulement échappèrent au feu » (Tchemerzine I, 163-164). Brunet précise de son côté que « l'ouvrage, écrit avec beaucoup de liberté, contient bien des faits curieux dont l'auteur a été témoin Les exemplaires en sont devenus rares " (Brunet I, 545). Quant au second titre, peu commun, "cet ouvrage, écrit dans un noble esprit de reconnaissance, donne de nombreux détails inconnus des autres auteurs [. ]" (Tchermerzine, VIII, 169, qui fournit une collation incomplète).
