Published in 1937 by the Denoyer-Geppert Company as part of the Harding European History Series. This large wall map of the British Isles is a four part map. The legend shows Borough representation. The 4 maps on the left side are: Scotland - Principal Clans and Families, Scotland - 1745 showing rule of Young Pretender, Ireland - Principal Clans and Families, Ireland - 16th & 17th Centuries showing plantations. This would be great for learning genealogy of families or clans that immigrated from Scotland or Ireland. This map is in good condition with slight paper loss and is hung on wooden dowel (coming off dowel at top right). Slight staining on right side. Additional pictures available. Published in 1955, by Denoyer-Geppert Social Science Maps, this large wall map is a beautiful depiction of the Caribbean in the U.S. This map shows the sea routes, comparative volume of shipping traffic, principal railroads, and routes of fleets in the Spanish-American War of 1898. This would be a great addition to any Caribbean map collection. Two insets maps of: Virgin Islands of the United States, and Panama Canal and Canal Zone. It is hung on wooden dowels in very good condition, with slight cracking near top. Additional pictures available. This double map of the World was published by Denoyer-Gepper Co. in 1916. The top map is The World in 1914 with inset maps in the corners of India under Clive and Hastings, and another of the West Indies, 1763. The routes of Marco Polo, Columbus, John Cabot, Vasco da Gama, Magellan, Drake, and Cook. Other indications include land and caravan routes of Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, French and British. The bottom map is Discoveries and Colonizations in 1763. Insets of India-1858 and Russo-Japanese War (1904-5). The map key indicates Colonies and Dependencies by color by county. This map is hung by wooden dowels. It is in good condition with age toning, cracks, and some paper loss, mainly at bottom map. Additional pictures are available.
