The magazine was conceived and produced by Ettore Sottsass, with Barbara Radice as editor and Christoph Radl as art director. The magazine reflected Sottsass' single-minded quest for quality, from the choice of subject matter, to the contributing artists and writers, the graphics and images, on to the choice of papers used for the cover and interior.
