Illustrated with engraved plates, all present. 954pp. Some foxing and browning throughout. Boards rubbed and a little wear to the head and…tail of spine, but essentially a very attractive copy.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Apparently signed by Daniel Dewar [not Norman Macleod] in pencil below his name on the title page: "[indecipherable word] Minister of Glasgow, Rev. Dr. Daniel Dewar". Rebound in two volumes, with Gaelic to English in Volume 1, and English to Gaelic in Volume 2. 1007 pages total, moderately age-ye…llowed. The condition is excellent: slightest wear, slightest dulling of the cloth of the lower spines (apparently from removed labels), slight residue of removed bookplates inside the front covers, otherwise unmarked. Undated, circa 1840; the title page resembles that of the 1839 printing, except for the missing year. [3.8 lbs]. Signed by Author(s). Book.
