During the Golden Age of the Circus, many songster pamphlets were associated by a particular clown or show performer that sang the songs for the Circus. Lone Star Harry, "America's Representative Scout, known as the Revolver King," was born near Eagle Pass in Maverick County, Texas, in 1855. His career as a scout for General Crook and as a famed participant in Wild West Shows-- with Pawnee Bill and Wichita Jack-- is recounted. Harry also gives advice and narrates his exploits: "Instructions regarding handling of revolvers"; "My experience on the Texas cattle trail". Several songs are included.…
