Full page map showing Eyre's escape route away from Singapore. A little light wear to the jacket, very good overall. The extraordinary true story of a group of eleven British and Australian serviceman who escaped from Singapore just before it fell to the Japanese. Making it over to Sumatra they commandeered an open-boat with the aim of getting to safety in India. They eventually made it as far as Burma before they ran aground and were eventually captured by Japanese forces.
