Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. First Edition. How to Stop Worrying and Start Living by Dale Carnegie and Dorothy Carnegie. Hardcover edition, 56th impression. This edition features black textured papered boards with gold print, including Dale Carnegie's signature elegantly embossed on the front cover and gold lettering on the spine. The book is in Very Good- condition without a dust jacket. The spine caps are lightly indented, but the covers remain in good shape overall. An "x" is marked on the upper text block edge in pen, and there is a small spot stain about 1/4 inch in diameter on the front edge of the text block. The binding is square and firm. An abrasion on the front flyleaf, where a stamp was partially removed, makes the first three lines of "Sixteen Ways This Book Will Help You" slightly less legible. There is also light abrasion to the dedication page. Interior pages are clean and unmarked, with slight age-toning. This book provides practical strategies to overcome worry and cultivate inner peace. Dale Carnegie offers actionable steps to break the worry habit, develop positive mental attitudes, and achieve a sense of inner security and happiness.
