Add to basketPaperback. Condition: new. Paperback. This is the first volume in a series to preserve the writings of Rev. Dr. Robert E. Dorris. Our goal is to make his writings available to all in an affordable and usable way. The focus is the One God and our personal development as his children through love, discipline, unity, learning, and growth. Rev. Dorris' writing style is unusual in its simplicity. Most of his writings are in a poetic form. Each writing is from the heart. Each will appeal to individuals in a different and unique way. They will help each individual to develop a more open perspective. They will provide aid, guidance, and motivation for your spiritual journey. You may find these thoughts radical or you will feel the truth of the words within your heart. Rev. Dorris is a Metaphysician with a Universal Unitarian view of there being only One God worshiped in a multitude of ways. He sees all the various religions as branches of a single tree. The religious form you use and the path you walk must be freely chosen by you. This item is printed on demand. Add to basketPaperback. Condition: new. Paperback. The Teachings of a Prophet is a new look at the original teachings of the Prophet Mohammad. Rev. Dorris does not write as a translator, academic, or scholar. He writes as a believer in the One God, whom we call Allah. His insights and views reflect the true intent and meaning of the original teachings of The Prophet as recorded in The Koran. Rev. Dorris makes this view available using simple words and in a way that all may understand. Each person may use the scriptures that are available and test them against the truths that they carry within their heart. Few people understand or know that the original message of Mohammad was compassionate, loving, and wise. It is through understanding and the sharing of knowledge that harmony, peace, love, and happiness could be achieved by everyone. Most individuals do not know that Judaism, Islam, and Christianity share the same roots. The core truths are the same in each faith and form the foundation of mysticism and the love poetry that is read all over the world. This book, The Teachings of a Prophet, A Point of View, will do its small part in bringing the essence of the Teachings of Mohammad back into the hearts and minds of men and women in our world today. Rev. Dorris was first exposed to the teachings of Islam in the 1980s. His book reflects the teachings of the Prophet that are compassionate, loving, and wise. It reflects teachings that are universally held throughout the world by men and women of all faiths, who believe in a Supreme Creator, the brotherhood of all humanity, and the importance of doing good works as you live your faith. This work is a dramatic reversal of the current thoughts that are presented to the world as the teachings of the Prophet and Islam. This item is printed on demand.
