She had a number of popular historical and travel non-fiction books, and biographies of figures like Harriet Tubman and Deborah Sampson. This copy was used in the classroom according to ownership marked on title page. Interior is tight, clean and, except for prior owner's names on title page, unmarked. Paperback cover is whole and shows normal wear with tears at head of spine and rear cover, which are stabilized with tape. Creases in cover, bit not in spine. Copyright 1965 as this collection. Individual poems have their own copyright date. This copy stated from 4th printing. August, 1968 of this 1965 Scholastic edition. Scholastic catalog: TX 651. No ISBN nor LCCN. MSR = US $0.35. DJ is not price clipped (original price of $1.00). Book is clean and binding tight. Overall a very good copy. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.

The book itself has small dampstain at top left front, and has my name-stamp on FFEP and top edge.
