Dourlien recounts his short career as a Dutch secret agent, and focuses on Germany's greatest counterespionage triumph and the Allies' most tragic espionage failure. He describes his training, his drop into Holland to waiting the Nazis, his interrogation and imprisonment, escape and journey back to Britain to advise the Allies that their system had been compromised. But, the British thought him a German spy and imprisoned him.
