1909, 6th edition, revised and edited. (hardcover) Good to very good. xiv, 350pp. 8vo. Smooth dark-cyan cloth boards, lettering in gilt to spine, lettering and crest in black to top board. Boards with shelfwear, corners rubbed, head and heel of spine bumped; small split in cloth at heel of spine. Previous owner's name small at head of ffep. Textblock with occasional small note of marginalia in ink, occasional underlining in pencil. Unobtrusive; majority of textblock clean. Leaves age-toned, as always. Illustrated with engravings. An uncommon text from Canadian historiography and political studies.
