Designed and printed in China. Volumes contain 206 colour reproductions mounted to plates. Most paintings were made by Asian painters (from Indonesia, China, Japan etc.) but works by European painters were also included. All texts and captions are in Indonesian, Chinese, English and Russian. /// Original slipcases; cloth binding with gilt titles; hardback, 35 pages + 88 plates (vol. 1), 15 pages + 118 plates (vol. 2), 4° (32 x 38 cm), slipcases worn and yellowed, dust jackets yellowed and worn (especially on edges), with tiny tears, covers slightly worn and faded, edges slightly foxed, some reproductions are slightly wavy (due to glue used?), condition: good Book Language/s: Indonesian, Chinese, English, Russian.
