Petr Maksimilianovich Dul'skii (1879-1956) is considered to be the founder of the Kazan art history who made an oversize contribution to development of culture of the Republic of Tatarstan. He was a prominent art historian, a major scholar of cultural and historical heritage of the Volga-Kama region, a remarkable organizer of artistic life, museum building and publishing of the Tatarstan Republic, social worker, artist, and teacher. The present work was the first widely published introduction to Tatar art and culture to circulate in the Soviet Union. No institutional holdings found worldwide. Fine.
