This edition follows The Mosquitoes of North and Central America and the West Indies, Vol. IV, 1917. The new material largely relates to N. America, Panama, and the n. coast of S. America. A penciled note on the front fep states that binding was done in 1931. Tipped in on blank pages in the back are errata and a review by L. O. Howard, Science, Nov. 16, 1928. Cloth on spine has darkened. Extremities are a little faded from rubbing. One owner's name is on the front fep and on the half-title page. A second owner's name is on the front pastedown; a gift inscription to him is on the first blank page. Endpapers and two blank pages have foxing. Foredge and bottom end of text block are speckled with pinpoint size red dots. International shipping will require extra cost. Scans e-mailed upon request.
