This is the 1930 sheet music for Stein Song, aka The Maine Stein Song, which is the school song for the University of Maine. Rudy Vallee, who attended the university, turned it into a massive hit in 1930 and it became the only college song ever to become a #1 hit. Its lyrics were written by the UMaine student Lincoln Colcord in 1902; its tune was based on the march 'Opie' by E. A. Fenstad. Excellent condition, minor wear at the edges. The pages have come apart but it is perfectly usable. The center page of music is missing. You can print it off the internet--it's available free of charge on lots of sites. NOTE: I have a lot of sheet music listed here. Contact me if you'd like to buy more than one piece and combine shipping.

In overall very good used condition with only slight signs of age, handling and storage. Internally clean, no annotation or inscriptions; text and music bright and clear throughout. Not an old library book.
