Book is tight, square, and unmarked but for the pupil's name on the front and rear pastedowns. Book Condition: Very Good +; lightly toned peripheral edges of pages (low quality war-time paper with high acid content); scant shelfwear. No DJ. Tan cloth boards and spine with black lettering on the spine and front board; city outline with airplanes in sky picture on front board; State of Kansas in orange lettering on front board. Clean internals. Interior hinges are sound and not split. 128 pp 12mo. In a progressively more difficult manner this book presents words for spelling and comprehension from the Second Grade First Half to the Fourth Grade Second Half in 18 study Units. A dictionary is included in the rear that focuses on the lessons presented. A clean very presentable copy.
