Condition: Good. 1940. No Edition Stated. 81 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth with gilt lettering. Pages and binding are presentable with no major defects. Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and tanning.

HARDCOVER. Burns, Oates and Washbourne, 1940. First edition. A near fine copy only marked by light rubbing to the edges of the boards and a previous owners name to the front free endpaper. The d/w is unclipped and good with some repaired edge wear and small areas of loss.

Soft cover. Condition: Good. This is a privately published edition. I have found only 3 copies one of which is in Oxford university and 2 others in America. So quite rare 32pp with blue cover and quality paper.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. (Madame Marie Christopher of the Order of the Assumption). With a foreword by Douglas Jerrold. Clean dark blue cloth covered boards, with gilt to front and spine. No inscriptions, stamps or book plates. Internally clean, free from foxing and tightly bound. A little evidence of rusted paperclip to top edge of two pages. Dust wrapper not price clipped, but showing some sunning and two closed tears to rear. D/w now protected with a clear removable cover.
