I killing fields dello Stalag 307 rimasero nascosti per quarant'anni. Dove allora era il limite del grande campo di prigionia finiscono oggi le ultime…casette basse di Deblin. Non si sa quanti fossero, ma raccontano i testimoni furono sepolti qui in fosse comuni, sopra i resti dei prigionieri sovietici, quei soldati e ufficiali del Regio Esercito che preferirono la fedeltà alla corona all'allettante offerta di salvarsi combattendo per la Repubblica di Mussolini. Il 20 settembre 1943 e il primo ottobre arrivarono i primi due treni carichi di soldati italiani. Presto seguirono altri due o tre convogli. Nel dicembre, quando la sezione italiana dello Stalag 307 fu chiusa, ripartà un treno solo con i soldati italiani. Ogni treno era composto da 50-60 vagoni. Ogni dieci vetture c' erano i vagoni delle guardie; gli altri erano vagoni merci o carri bestiame a cielo aperto, e su ognuno viaggiavano in piedi o sdraiati fino a cento prigionieri. RARISSIMA TESTIMONIANZA DEL CAMPO, SOPRATTUTTO ECCEZIONALE PER L'ARGOMENTO DEL VOLUME IN QUANTO TRATTASI DELLA TRADUZIONE ITALIANA. Volume in dotazione alla sezione del controllo postale che per nostra supposizione, mera ipotesi, utilizzava il volume per capire se nella corrispondenza vi fossero elementi per ascrivere ad alcuni prigionieri comportamenti sessuali deviati.
