Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Very good decorative blue cloth boards intricate star-burst design in gilt to front board, title to spine in sliver gilt against a purple background, bands of silver patterning to the rest of the spine, rear board plain, very minor background wear in the form of a couple of thin scuffs, top edge…purple, map endpapers purple background printed in white, no incriptions, no marks, black and white portrait of William Napier is the frontispiece, 331 pages including the index, illustrations in black and white. Size 9.75x 6.25 inches approx. This is an attactively bound book in a neutral plain slipcase, a little wear to the slipcase, it is sound and firm. The Folio Society produces some books in really attractive bindings and this is no exception.
