Collects 16 complete piano/vocal/guitar arrangements of her most iconic songs including Piece of My Heart, Ball and Chain, Try (Just a Little Bit Harder), Me and Bobby McGee, Cry Baby, and Mercedes Benz as performed live and on record between 1963 and 1970. Edited and designed by Bruce Steinberg, the book integrates black-and-white performance photography, lyric excerpts, and notes identifying original albums (Cheap Thrills, Pearl, Kozmic Blues Again Mama!) A key collectible for fans and musicians alike, and one of the earliest comprehensive posthumous Joplin folios. Condition: Very Good.
