Internally clean and tight, overall a good reading copy only. 765pp. Sir Frank Merry Stenton (1880-1967), was a historian of Anglo-Saxon England, and president of the Royal Historical Society (1937-1945). His' Anglo-Saxon England', in the Oxford History of England series, is widely considered a classic history of the period. A large heavy book, extra postage may be required.
