Volume 1 on Central and South America has13 maps many folding and coloured and 84 photo and other illustrations. with 611 pages and with advert on the verso of last leaf. Volume 2 has Central America and The West Indies, with 10 maps folding and… coloured + 80 photo illustrations and 496 pages. These books once in the Chelsea Reference Library with an armorial Chelsea coat of arms bookplate by WWB (William Baddeley?) dated 1903. The last stamp on the borrowing label is 1968 an owners name of Francis Done or Dowe to endpaper so possibly bequeathed to the library from original owner? There is a some small circular rubber stamp at end of index and a blind stamp on frontis, cannot be seen unless held at an angle. + the armorial bookplates and reference borrowing label The original gilt embossed covers are still VG and bright, cloth has split a two tiny areas on spine edge on volume 1.
