I am pleased to offer a very nice and clean copy of: The Second St. Nicholas Anthology, edited by Henry Steele Commager. This largish hard cover book (6 ¾ x 9 ¾ inches, 586 pages) was published by Random House of New York, dated 1950, and the First Printing (so stated). It is bound in green cloth with green, red and gilt titles and decorations on cover and spine. An incredible array of Authors and Illustrators and their vintage works and art can be found in this book. Condition: It was the very good condition of this large hard cover book which prompted me to offer it. The hard covers are clean, just barely bumped with a bright title panel on the cover but some fading to the titles on the spine. Inside, the book is unmarked and the pages are clean and unblemished throughout. Both hinges are intact, and the binding is tight and sound. This book is not ex-library or a remainder.
