    Cloth. Condition: Good-. No Jacket. The Ludgate School Books: Nature-Study Readers in Three Books - Book III, edited by John C. Medd, M.A.Hardback, circa 1920, illustrated, including two coloured plates, published by George Philip & Son, Ltd., London, 215 pages + viii.Octavo/8vo, measures around 7 1/2" by 5" by 1/2". Green cloth binding, black lettering and pictorial detail to front board, black lettering to spine. A little marking and scuffing to binding but quite clean and colouring still vivid. Signs of wear, rubbing at edges and on hinges. Binding firm, though a little cracked towards centre of book. Page edges browned, tanned, scuffed and a bit marked. Some marking and foxing to endpapers, some offsetting on title page from frontispiece. A little marking to page surfaces but otherwise clean, no underlining, marginalia, etc. See pictures for further information. 215+ pp. Circa 1920. n.
